Hi, everybody!

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Royal Mile’s new blog page. We’ll be using this space to bring you information about what’s going on here at the Mile, about soccer, beer, scotch, food, and good times in general. In the next month or so, we’ll have a breakfast menu to share with you, a new cocktail list, all the info you’ll need about St. Patrick’s Day, two new regular series of blog posts, and our website will be growing and evolving, so you’ll want to stay tuned.

For the most part, this will be for the times when we have too much to say to put it on Facebook or Twitter. Oh, sure, you’ll be hearing from us there, too, but this is where we’ll get really windy. As a matter of fact, this will probably be the shortest post I ever write for this blog. Enjoy it while you can.

In just a few minutes, I’m going to put up another post from our team of resident soccer aficionados. They wrote it a few days ago, so any information that’s outdated is completely my fault. Blame me. Loudly. Preferably in front of the guys. It’ll make them feel better, and I can take it.
